Who is Mark, 2018, 9 min, London

In an antique camera store at Brick Lane, I found a box of postcards.

They were all from or sent to one man, Mark.

The timestamps on those postcards were from the early 70s to the late 80s.

To me, postcards were a record of people I know, and places I went. More importantly, they memorized my life.

I wondered what made Mark decide to get rid of those family postcards?

My curiosity makes me start a trip to the address on the postcards, trying to find Mark.

Before I arrived at the address, a lot of predictions were made, by the owner of the second-hand store, an Airbnb family, a group of the old in the local cafe, the neighbours. However, the journey seems away from its track...
